Hello 2015! What’s a better first post of the year than a pork and sauerkraut recipe?
Crock-Pot Pork and Sourkraut
Ingredients:
1 pork roast or 2 pork tenderloins
1 bag of sauerkraut. Mine was homemade but store bought works
1 bottle of beer
1 onion chopped
Apple butter (I used a small jar)
Tablespoon of Garlic powder
Mix everything in crock pot and cook until pork is cooked and tender. I think it will take 5-6 hours on high.
I’m going to serve this over some smashed red potatoes. Will report my findings!! Happy New Year!
Edit! Turned out awesome! Even the spawnbeast enjoyed it!
